Gouri G. Kishan Biography 
Gouri G. Kishan is a Tamil film actress of Malayalam origin. She shot to fame after playing the teenage version of Trisha Krishnan in Tamil recent hit, 96. She played the younger Jaanu in the romantic flick, winning accolades.
She hails from Adoor of Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. Her father Geetakishan works in a multi-national company. Her mother Veena Kishan hails from Vaikam, Kottayam. Her studies were completed in Chennai, and currently doing BA Tripple Major at Bangalore Christ University. Her elder brother Govind Kishan is doing MSc from same college. She comes to Kerala twice or thrice in a year during vacation. She doesn’t belong to a family with filmy background. But all family members are crazy about films.
Director Prem Kumar and her uncle are good friends, and Gouri attended the audition as suggested by her uncle. When she noticed that her role is of great significance, she asked permission from the director to do acting training. She practised next 7 days, and this period helped her a lot to improvise in acting.
When she was offered the teenage role of Trisha, she spent a lot of time in workouts and reduced 5 kgs to look perfect fit for the role. When she was casted aside actor Aadi for 96, there were rumours that both are dating. But both the actors denied it. She says that all young actors of ‘96 batch’ team are her friends. She is getting a lot of roles after the success of her debut flick. Yet she is currently giving importance to her academics, but prefers to accept roles which won’t interfere her studies.
