Gopichand Lagadapati is an actor, producer, screenwriter and director associated with Telugu film industry. He made his acting debut with the film Anand in 2004, where he was seen in a supporting role. The movie scripted and directed by Sekhar Kammula starred Raja and Kamalinee Mukherjee in the lead roles. Gopichand played the character of Ram in the film. Slowly he moved to lead roles and made his debut as a film producer by Mr. Medhavi in 2008. He played lead role in 2006 film – Indian Beauty. He has worked in television as a writer-director.

Gopichand Lagadapati, a native of Hyderabad is the grandson of Ramarao Bodduluri, noted politician from Andhra Pradesh. He has also produced a few films. He entered film scene in the year 2002 where he joined as an assistant director in the scripting section of the film - Preminchi Choodu. Two years later he made his acting debut through Anand. Though made his acting debut and moved to lead roles, he never gave up his passion to become a film maker and he continued with assisting directors for films and television serials.

Rendella Tharuvatha was his second release as an actor, where he played one of the lead roles. The movie was a commercial failure at the box office. Later he was seen in the movies - On the Other Side, followed by Indian Beauty. Mr. Medhavi in 2007 marked his debut as a producer. However the movie starring Genelia D'Souza, Sonu Sood, Raja Abel etc was a commercial failure. He was later seen in the English film - Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain. PriyaNestam was his first television series as an actor and later he scripted and assisted many television serials.
