Gokul Suresh Biography

Gokul Suresh is a budding young actor associated with Malayalam cinema. He is the son of National award winner and superstar of Mollywood cinema, Suresh Gopi. Gokul marked his film debut with 2016 romantic comedy, Mudhugauv, co-staring Arthana, a newcomer. Arthana is the daughter of noted character artist Vijayakumar. The movie received good reviews and was an average hit at box office. The movie was directed by Vipin Das. Gokul was later seen in the movies - Pappu (2017) and Panchara Paalu Mittayi (2017). But both the films went unnoticed.

Gokul Suresh was born into a family with strong background. He is the son of superstar and action hero of big screen, Suresh Gopi whose name needs no introduction. Radhika Nair is his mother. Following his father’s footsteps, Gokul too reached Mollywood as an actor. Gokul has an acting experience in street theatre for over four years before he forayed to films. He went through 12-day grooming session conducted by actor Murali Menon to get into the skin of his debut film role. Suresh Gopi’s son made an impressive acting debut through the comedy entertainer Mudhugauv. The movie received rave reviews from critics and also got good opening. Star kids often have it tough when it comes to the release of their debut movies. But when his movie was received well, the expectations have only shot up.

Gokul is a BBA Tourism student at Christ University, Bangalore. He has three sisters and one brother; Lekshmi, Bhavani, Madhav and Bhagya. Gokul was doing his college studies, when he made his film debut. For the same reason he was absent from promos and he was making up for the hours he lost while filming 'Mudhugauv'. Panjaara Paalu Mittayi was his second release, where he played the main lead. The movie was produced by Cyric John and Devi Ajith, her first production venture.
