Gabriella Demetriades Biography

Gabriella Demetriades is a South African model and actress who works in Bollywood and Telugu movies too. She is a successful designer too. She was seen in a supporting role in 2014 Bollywood film, Sonali Cable which marked her film debut. She was also seen in 2016 Telugu movie, Oopiri, where she played the role of Jenny. She was also featured in a couple of music videos, a promo song of Malayalam movie Red wine and also Aditya Narayan’s music video, Tu Hi Pyar Hai.

She has also appeared in a few TV ads including one with Ranbir Kapoor (AXE and Nissan). Yet she earned fame through IPL matches where she was spotted for the first time, and earned the title, “Miss IPL Bollywood". In 2009 she was chosen as one of FHM's "100 Sexiest Women in The World" contenders. She has appeared as cover girl for many leading fashion designing magazines of the world. In 2010 she was caught in crossfire between politician Shashi Tharoor and IPL personality Lalit Modi, over the matter of IPL matches. There were speculations that she was the reason behind the drift of these two powerful personalities.

Gabriella Demetriades hails from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. A model turned designer, she's a multi-faceted woman. She came to India for the first time in 2009 as a part of three-month modelling contract, and her name got linked with IPL games. She returned back only in 2011, but only to shift her base in India to continue her work. In the next first years, she made a name of her own in the designing model, and launched her label, Deme by Gabriella. She dated IMG Senior Vice President Ravi Krishnan back then, and currently dating Shiv Burman, a person into digital media field.
