Fawad Afzal Khan is a Pakistani model, singer and actor who is to make his Bollywood debut through Khoobsurat directed by Shashanka Ghosh. The movie is the remake of the 1980 film of the same titled and he plays lead role opposite Sonam Kapoor. Khan has also signed his second Bollywood film with Yash Raj Films Next alongside Kareena Kapoor. This heart throb of Pakistan is one of the nation’s highest-paid actors at present. 2007 movie Khuda Kay Liye by Shoaib Mansoor is his most appreciated role till now. He is also a television actor, best known for Dastaan and Humsafar. He is also the lead singer of Pakistani rock band Entity Paradigm.

He was born in Karachi. He spent his early childhood in Greece, Manchester and Saudi Arabia and returned to Lahore at the age of 12. He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications and Engineering from National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Lahore. He married Sadaf Fawad Khan in 2005 and the couple has one son. The couple owns one leading brand, Silk since 2012.

He started his modelling career at the age of 13. He learned guitar, bass, and drums at the age of 20. 2000 comedy drama ‘Jutt and Bond’ (television series) made his acting debut. Though appeared in several movies, he rose to prominence after playing the role of Hassan in 2010 serial Dastaan. Very soon he established as a television star through the series, Humsafar and the most popular series, Zindagi Gulzar Hai. He made his film debut in 2007 with Khuda Kay Liye and the movie was a commercial hit. He earned Lux Style Award for Best Actor and there was no turning back after that.
