Divya Bharti Biography 
Divya Bharti was an Indian film actress. She was active from the year 1990 to 1993. Her debut film was in Telugu in Bobbili Raja. Then she acted in several hit films. She started her career in Hindi film industry through her film Vishwatma in 1992 and this won her critical acclaim. She met a tragic death by falling down from her apartment building on 5th April 1993.
She was born on 25th February 1974 in Bombay in India. She got offers to act in films when she was studying in ninth standard in Maneckji Cooper High School. As she had a strong resemblance of Hindi superstar Sridevi, she attracted many directors. When she was given a chance to act in the film Gunahon Ka Devta, she was only fourteen and a half. She got a chance to act along with Aamir Khan in the film Aatank Hi Aatank.
Her parents are Meeta and Om Prakash Bharti. She had one younger brother, Kunal. She met Sajid Nadiadwala in 1990 and fell in love with him and married him secretly on 20th May 1992. She was converted to Islam on account of the marriage and changed her name to Sana Nadiadwala.
Though she was sought after in her early days, no one signed her up. Finally she got a chance to act in the Telugu film, Bobbili Raja. Then she acted in film Vishwatma with Sunny Deol. As she was dropped out of many big Hindi projects, she was dejected. After her first film she saw the chances pouring in.
Some of the films that she acted include Nila Penne, Naa Ille Naa Swargam, Rowdy Alludu, Dharma Kshetram, Shola Aur Shabnam, Jaan Se Pyaara, Dil Ka Kya Kasoor, Deewana, Balwaan, Dushman Zamana, Dil Aashna Hai, Geet, Tholi Muddhu, Dil Hi To Hai, Ksatriya, Rang, Shatranj, etc.
She fell from five storied building in Mumbai on 5th April 1993 and died. There were great speculations whether this was suicide or accident or murder. Her dress designer Neeta Lulla was with her at that time. Though the case was closed in 1998, the reason for her death still remains a mystery.
There were many unfinished films during her death. The film Laadla was reshot with Sridevi. The films Rang and Shatranj were released after her death. Some of her incomplete films are Mohra, Vijaypath, Andolan, Kartavya, Tholi Muddhu, Dhanwan, Kanyadaan, Hulchul, etc.
