Delhi Ganesh Biography 
Delhi Ganesh is an Indian film actor who performs character roles and supporting roles. He has also done comedy roles in many films notable among them being those of Kamal Hassan’s Nayagan and Michael Madhana Kama Rajan.
He was born on 1st August 1944 in Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu. His acting career started in 1976 and in a time span of three decades he has acted in more than 500 films. Before he entered film industry he was working in the Indian Air Force from 1964 to 1974. During those times, he used to entertain jawans by his comedy plays.
He was a member of the Delhi drama troupe called Dakshina Bharata Nataka Sabha. It was K. Balachander who introduced him to film industry. Delhi Ganesh has one son named Shyam Ganesh who is also an actor.
His debut film was Raja Thirai in 1979. Delhi Ganesh has also acted in some Tamil television series including Vasantham and Kasthuri in Sun TV. His other important television series include Marma Desam, Kasturi, Porantha Veeda Puguntha Veeda, Pallankuzhi, Vasantham, Manaivi, Enge Brahmanan, Chellamay, etc. He was honored with many state awards including Kalaimamani award and was the proud receiver of award from the then Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran.
He also appears in many commercial advertisements including those of Cadburys, TVS 50, Popular Appalams, etc. He recently celebrated his Shashtipoorthy, his sixtieth birthday. Some of his popular films include Pasi, Chimdambara Rahasiyam, Thenali, Michael Madhana Kamarajan, Kadhala Kadhala, Kaavalan, Moondru Mugam, Vettaikaran, Unnal Mudiyum Thambi, Mercury Pookkal, Kovai Brothers, Pudhiya Mannargal, Chinna Vaathiyar, Nee Pathi Naan Pathi, Kovai Brothers, Raja Paarvai, Sangamam, Kasethan Kadavulada, etc.
