Miss Kerala 2012, Deepti Sati is a successful model and Malayalam film actress, who shot to fame after playing the title role in highly praised Malayalam film - Nee-Na (2015) directed by the popular director Lal Jose. Played the central character of Neena in the movie, she played the powerful lead role of a creative director of an ad company in the movie. She was paired with Vijay Babu, and actress Ann Augustine completed the love triangle story. She impressed the audience through one of the most powerful performances in the recent times and the movie was a box office hit as well. A successful model, apart from Miss Kerala 2012 title, she also won the sub titles Miss. Talented & Miss. Iron Maiden at Femina Miss India 2014.

Deepti was born in Mumbai in 1995 where she was brought up. Her father belongs to Nainital and mother belongs to Kochi. She completed graduation in Business Administration from Mumbai. She had an inclination towards acting, modelling and fashion. She started her modelling career through Pantaloon Fresh Face Hunt. She participated in Miss Kerala 2012, where she was crowned the title. She was one of the finalists of Miss India 2014, and won two sub titles too. Navy Queen 2013 and Indian Princess 2013 first runner up are other major wins in the modelling industry.

Later she thought of joining film scene. She sent her photos to a reputed director and he was impressed by her photos. She later attended the auditions for Nee-Na and landed to the lead protagonist’s role. The portrayal of her character as a bold and forward-looking girl is a far cry from the image of a Malayali heroine on screen till now. Deepti is also passionate to singing and dancing and she loves to go for adventure sports and do trekking.
