Chhavi Pandey Biography

Chhavi Pandey is an Indian television and film actress from Patna, Bihar. She is also known as a singer. She gained popularity through small screen through the television series, Teri Meri Love Stories where she played the role of Smita. As a film actress Bhojpuri film, Bidesia is her most popular film appearance in which she played lead role. She has participated in Sur Sangram in Mahuaa TV and later acted in a TV serial Ankhiyo Ke Jharokhe Se on the same channel, which gave her more acting opportunities.

 
Chhavi was born in Patna, Bihar. Her father Umesh Kumar Pandey is a retired government employee. Her mother is Geetha pandey. They didn’t have any objections to their daughter choosing acting as career. She is a trained Kathak dancer and a professional singer also. She has also learnt Hindustani music and light music. She is a national scholar from ministry of culture New Delhi in classical music. Her first television appearance was in the year 2008, where she participated in Indias Got Talent Season 1 on Colors TV. Then she debut big screen as lead actress in Bhojpuri movie, Bidesia where she was paired opposite Dinesh Lal Yadav.

 
‘Sang Mere Dol Tu’ on Star Plus marked her comeback to television in the year 2012. Earlier she lost the role in Star Plus show Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, which was later played by Deblina Chatterjee. She also signed Star Plus show Daag opposite actor Vatsal Seth in the year 2012. This project too, didn’t happen. In 2013, she appeared in Life Ok series - Ek Bhoond Ishq, opposite actor Viraf Patel. Teri Meri Love Stories on Star Plus is her most popular role till now.
