Chetan Sosca Biography 
Chetan Sosca is a popular Kannada playback singer. He has received Karnataka State Film Award and Filmfare awards several times for playback singing. "Yaare Nee Devatheya" of Kannada movie, Ambaari fetched him numerous awards for playback singing including Karnataka State Film Award, Filmfare award, Suvarna film awards and Mirchi Music Awards. This popular track has also won the most popular song of the year award. "Yaarig Helona" of Lifeu Ishtene, "janumada gelathi" of Cheluvina chittara and Nenapirali are other popular tracks which fetched him musical awards. "Yaarig Helona" of Lifeu Ishtene has helped him to get Santhosham film award, Suvarna film awards, Chitrarasikara sangha award and Filmfare. In 1997, he received Aryabhata award for his Achievement in Ghazals. Title track of Nenapirali earned him E TV Award and Udaya Award for Best Singer. His most recent song Pyarge Aagbittaite for the movie Govindaya Namaha has created a record for the maximum viewership in YouTube.
Chetan debut playback singing in the year 2001 with the movie, Kothigalu saar kothigalu. The music was given by Hamsalekha. He has also worked as assistant to many music directors of the industry including Hamsalekha. Till now, Chetan has sung more than 600 songs in Kannada movies. His big break came in the year 2006 with the movie, Nenapirali. Its title track fetched him numerous awards and established him as a talented singer of present times. "Janumada Gelathi" of 2007 movie, Cheluvina Chittara was also an instant hit.
In 2008, his top hit songs include - Moggina Manasu, Taj Mahal and Chaitrada Chandrama. Other hit songs of this singer include - Pyarge Aagbittaite for the movie Govindaya Namaha, "Cindrella" for the movie Addhuri, "Be Be Be" for Rana, "Ninthu Nodalenu" for Shikari and "Appu Hey Appu" of Dev Son of Mudde Gowda.
