Chandini Tamilarasan Biography

Chandini Tamilarasan is a south Indian film actress associated with Tamil movies. She made her acting debut through K. Bhagyaraj's Siddhu +2 in the year 2010 and later played female protagonist in Tamil movies like Naan Rajavaga Pogiren and Padithurai. She is to make her Telugu debut with Kaali Charan. Padithurai is her upcoming Tamil project. She was casted alongside Nakul and Avani Modi, for the movie, Naan Rajavaga Pogiren which received rave reviews from critics and was an average grosser too.

She belongs to Chennai. She completed graduation in Ethiraj College, Chennai. She did Visual Communication. She never dreamt to become an actress. But while at school, she took part in ‘Miss Chennai’ beauty pageant for which she won the subtitle ‘Miss photogenic’. After this contest she got many offers from movies and she got support from her parents as well. That’s how she entered big screen. She didn’t take any formal learning in acting before her film debut, but got support from Bhagyaraj who offered her the movie, Siddhu +2 in 2010. Full credits go to Bhagyaraj who trained and mould her to become a good actress. She also appeared in a reality show on television and that’s how she got her first movie offer.

 
Padithurai features some newcomers aside Arya and the movie is delayed now. Kaalicharan’ – her first Telugu movie is a very realistic film with commercial elements, set in the backdrop of 80s. Director Praveen happened to see her pictures in the cover page of a magazine and he met her at Chennai to offer the role. She played the role of Theertha, a Brahmin girl in the movie. Sridevi is her favourite actress.
