Brinda Parekh Biography

Brinda Parekh is an Indian film actress and model who works in Bollywood as well as Marathi and south Indian cinema. She is a Gujarati. She has done item songs for many movies belonging to Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Corporate (2006) is her debut Hindi movie in which she first appeared. She has also appeared in many music videos, the popular ones being Tera Hasna Kamaal - Shael Oswal, Vaada Tera Vaada - Nitin Bali and Yeh Mera Dil Pyar Ka Deewana. She also appeared in the theme song of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Tumhari Disha and Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai are her television works.

She was born on 3 November 1984 and was brought up in Mumbai. She started her career as a model. At the age of 16, she read an ad in the newspaper about ‘Sheetal Haute Spot', a model hunt by Sheetal. She attended it and was selected as one among the winners.A portfolio was shot by Atul Kasbekar at this occasion which happened to be her first portfolio ever. She subsequently forwarded the portfolio to many modelling agencies and started her innings as a model.

She has appeared in several commercial ads for television. Royal Challenge Beer, Vimal Suitings, Polo Mint, Microsoft Windows XP, Amul Macho and Anchor Switches are a few among them. She also appeared in a few music videos in the early 2000’s. Remixed version of Vaada Tera Vaada by Nitin Bali is one of her most popular music videos, in which she appeared as one among the three teenage girls.

Tollywood really left a remarkable impression on this model. Apart from doing some supporting roles, she has been featured in many song sequences of movies like Sanju Weds Geetha, Sillunu Oru Sandhippu, Polladhavan etc. She played the role of Mona in Pokkiri and played parallel lead Ritu in Marathi movie, Pinky - Ek Satyakatha. She has also appeared in a few Bollywood films like London Dreams, Ek Se Bure Do and Janta V/S Janardan - Bechara Aam Aadmi.
