Bilal Amrohi is a Bollywood actor who made his acting debut with 2014 release – Oh teri. He appeared alongside Pulkit Samrat in this Bollywood disaster. Bilal is the grandson of legendary film maker, Kamal Amrohi known for the movies - Mahal (1949), Pakeezah (1972) and Razia Sultan (1983). Legendary actress Meena Kumari was the third wife of his paternal grandfather, Kamal Amrohi. Bilal’s father Tajdaar Amrohi was so much attached to his step mother Meena Kumari. In fact Tajdaar was brought up by Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi and this wedded couple didn’t have any children. Noted actor cum director, Mazhar Khan who was married to Zeenat Aman was his maternal uncle.

 
Bilal Amrohi was born in 1984 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is the son of Tajdar Amrohi, the elder son of film director-screenwriter Kamal Amrohi. Amrohi is also known as the dialogue writer of Mughal-E-Azam. His mother Nilofer Amrohi is the sister of actor-director Mazhar Khan. Zeenat Aman is his aunt. Bilal has announced his relationship with Saachi, actor Kumar Gaurav and granddaughter of Jubilee Kumar – Rajendra Kumar. As per latest news, he is to wed Sanjay Dutt’s niece (sister’s daughter) Saachi next year.

Born into a filmy family with cinematic legacy Bilal stayed in Mumbai while his grandfather stayed in Versova and for the same reason, he had less interaction with Kamal.  His father and brother also worked in films and Bilal went to Los Angeles to study acting. As a kid he used to frequently visit splendid Kamalistan studios, which was owned by his grandfather. He started off as an assistant director before making his acting debut. For Bilal’s debut movie, Salman Khan made a special appearance for a song sequence. He is very close to superstar’s family.
