Bhama Biography 
Bhama is an Indian film actress of Malayalam film industry. Her debut film was in the year 2007 named Nivedyam directed by A. K. Lohithadas. Since then she has acted more than a dozen Malayalam films and few films of other languages.
She was born on 23rd May 1988 in Manarkadu in Kottayam district in Kerala state. Her original name is Rekitha. Her father’s name is Rajendra Kurup and her mother is a housewife. She has two sisters and she is the youngest of the family. She studied her Higher Secondary education in St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School in Mannarkkadu.
She was hosting a matrimonial program in television named Thaali in Kairali TV before she entered film industry. She also acted in a Christian devotional album and it was director Lohithadas who picked her. She considers him as her Guru.
Her second film, Hareendran Oru Nishkalankan was directed by Vinayan and in this film she acted with Manikuttan. Her most successful film was Cycle directed by Johny Antony. In this film she paired with Vineeth Sreenivasan, Vinu Mohan and Sandhya. Her debut film in Tamil was Ellam Avan Seyal in 2008.
Some of the films that she acted are Sakudumbam Shyamala, Neelambari, Khilafath, College Days, Modalasala, Colors, One Way Ticket, Janapriyan, Sevar Kodi, Manchivadu, Shyloo, Swapnangalil Haizel Mary, Cycle, Hareendran Oru Nishkalankan, Nivedyam, etc.
She received Asianet Film Best Star Pair Award in 2007 for Nivedyam, and Best New Comer Awards in Sathyan Memorial Film Awards, Film Critics Award, Ala Award, Vanitha Nippon Award, and Best Screen Pair Awards in Amma Award and Mathrubhumi and Amritha Awards.
