Baljit Sahni Biography 
Baljit Sahni is an Indian professional footballer who plays for Indian Super League - professional football league in India. He plays as a forward for FC Pune City in the Indian Super League this season, and has played with Atlético de Kolkata and Chennaiyin before. He was also played with professional clubs such as JCT, Mumbai, East Bengal etc. In 2010 Sahni signed with I-League giants East Bengal, and played on loan for Atlético de Kolkata during 2014 and 2015.
Baljit Sahni was born on 12 January 1987 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. He joint JCT in 2008 and played with the club for long 5 years before he moved to some of the big teams of the league. He has been a regular player in ISL also, where he has played for three teams in three different seasons. At first he played for Atlético de Kolkata for two seasons, followed by Chennaiyin and currently with FC Pune City. He has been a regular player of I-league since 2007. Till now he has played 87 league matches in total, scoring 24 goals.
In 2009 the striker got seriously injured in a bike accident along with teammate defender Sunil Kumar Thakur in Margao. He was playing for JCT in Goa for their 8th round game against Salgaocar. The bike apparently skidded, injuring the two. Sahni fractured his wrist, and also injured his shin, needing 25 stitches during treatment. Baljit has been in terrific form in this season, scoring six goals in seven games, and had even earned a call-up to the India U-23 team for the SAFF Cup. This would be the breakthrough season for Sahni, if accident has not occurred.
