Bala Saravanan Biography

Bala Saravanan is a budding actor of Tamil cinema at present, known for portraying character roles. He is one among those actors who shifted to big screen after achieving success on small screen. Kutti Puli, Ego, Endrendrum, Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe, Thirudan Police, Darling, Aaah, Vedalam and Valiyavan are some of his released movies. He has also appeared in television serials - Kalli Kaatu Pallikoodam and Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kalloriyin Kadhai. Made his onscreen debut in 2013 with the movie, Ego he is a regular actor of Tamil cinema at present. His instant timing as a comedian in Thirudan Police and Darling were well praised by critics.

He was born on November 2, 1987 in Madurai. Bala started off his career as a television actor and was first seen in Kalli Kaatu Pallikoodam aired on Vijay TV. Then he was seen in Kana Kaanum Kaalangal Kalloriyin Kadhai. This college drama series too was aired on the same channel. Thus television gave him big break to movies and Ego marked his acting debut as a comedian. However it was Kutti Puli, which helped to earn viewers’ likes. His character Pappu was an instant hit. It was followed by Thirudan Police and Darling which established Bala as the new comedian of Tamil cinema. He also appeared in the short film - Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, which helped him to be in limelight.

In July 2013, this actor was arrested for a car accident which resulted in the death of 4 year old girl Uma Maheshwari. This incident happened at Azhagar Kovil Street in Madurai when the girl tried to cross the road. The girl died before she reached the hospital.
