Ayesha Takia Biography 
Ayesha Takia is an Indian actress appearing mainly in the Hindi film industry. She was born on 10th April 1986 in Chembur Mumbai in Maharashtra. His father is Nishit and he is a Gujarati. His mother Faridah is half Maharashtrian and half British.
She studied at St. Anthony’s High School in Chembur. She has one younger sister, Natasha. She married Farhan Azmi, the son of the Samajwadi party political leader Abu Azmi on 1st March 2009. Though they have planned their wedding in 2008, it was delayed due to Mumbai attacks in 2008.
She started her career as a model. Her first television commercial was for Complan. She took part in the ‘I am a Complan Girl’ advertisement campaign. Then she appeared in the music video, Meri Chunarii Udd Udd Jaye. She was only fifteen at that time. Next year she appeared in the video Shake it Daddy. This brought her into the limelight.
She got few film offers and signed a contract for Socha Na Tha. But this is delayed due to some reasons. She won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her film Taarzan: The Wonder Car in the year 2004. Her film Dor by Nagesh Kukunoor got her critical acclaim. She appeared in Telugu film Super with Akkineni Nagarjuna.
Some of her films are Shaadi No. 1, Super, Shaadi Se Pehle, Dor, Kya Love Story Hai, Fool and Final, Cash, Blood Brothers, Sunday, Paathshala, Delhi Safari, Bemisaal, Aap Ke Liye Hum, Dil Maange More, etc.
Her film Wanted with Salman Khan was a blockbuster of 2009. She has won IIFA Star Debut in 2004, Star’s Sabsey Favourite Nayi Heroine in 2005, Star Screen Award for Best Actress in 2007, Stardust Best Supporting Actress Award, Nengal Film Journalists’ Association Award and Zee Cine Critics Award in Best Actress category.
