Anukreethy Vas is a young model from Tamil Nadu who has crowned Femina Miss India 2018. This beauty pageant titleholder was crowned by none other than Manushi Chhillar, the current titleholder of both Miss India and Miss World 2018. Now Anukreethy Vas is to represent India at the 68th edition of Miss World pageant to be held in Sanya, China on 8 December 2018, a title currently held by Indian model. She is a graduation student who studies at Loyola College, Chennai. It is after long 27 years a Tamil girl has been crowned as Miss. India.

Anukreethy Vas was born on September 28, 1998 in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. She lost her father at a young age of 4, and has been raised by her mother Seleena. She has one younger brother. She completed her schooling from R. S. Krishnan Higher Secondary School and is currently pursuing her graduation in French at Loyola College, Chennai. She loves to wear jeans & top and walk like a tomboy. She is crazy about travels. She often takes her younger brother’s bike and rides for fun. She is a state level athlete and a trained dancer too. She also loves acting. She also works for the education of transgender, and also supports more than 30 people belonging to this class. She dreams to start an orphanage and old age in distant future.

Anukreethy Vas shot to fame after been crowned as Femina Miss India 2018 by Miss World Manushi Chhillar. She won the title after contesting with 30 participants. She also got ‘Miss Beautiful Smile’ & ‘Miss Beauty with a purpose’ subtitles. Now all eyes are on this 19 year old graduation student, if she can sustain Miss World crown in India, which was brought to the country after a long gap of 18 years.
