Anu Sithara Biography

Anu Sithara is a trained dancer and an upcoming actress of Malayalam cinema, who made her film debut with 2013 Malayalam flick - Pottas Bomb directed Suresh Achoos. She is a trained dancer with a good exposure in Kerala Kalamandalam. She has also participated in several talent hunt shows on television, apart from cultural events and school competitions.  Anu Sithara has opened up a dance school by the name Navarasa at home.

Since childhood Anu has been attracted to dancing and she has been on stage shows quite for a long time since then. She has been seen on the stage, doing dancing of various forms at various levels. She is trained from Kerala Kalamandalam, where she got opportunity to learn many accomplished artists of present times. Apart from school and college level competitions she has also represented the country at various cultural shows held in foreign countries. She opened a dance school Navarasa at her home to teach students. She just wants to pass on her knowledge to students who genuinely love the art forms. Anu’s mother also helps her in administration of her dance school whenever she is out of station.

Anu has also taken part in several reality shows on television and quite popular among TV audience. She was spotted by a film director through one such performance in a TV show. She recommended her name to Suresh Achoos, who was to make the movie – Pottas Bomb. Thus she bagged a lead role for the movie through which she showcased her talents of a typical desi girl in various moods. However the movie was a box office failure and her role went unnoticed. She was also seen in a character role in Satyan Antikad’s Oru Indian Pranayakatha.
