Ankush Chaudhari Biography

Ankush Chaudhari is an Indian actor, filmmaker and theatre personality from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He produces and directs movies as well. He played lead role in Marathi movie, Double Seat in 2015. The movie received positive reviews with critics and his acting was also appreciated. Mukta Barve played the female lead. Classmates in 2015 is yet another major hit of his career, where he reprised the lead role of Prithviraj in the Marathi remake of Malayalam campus film with the same name. Ankush Chaudhari is married to Marathi film and television actress, Deepa Parab. She is also a stage actress and model. Ankush Chaudhari joined film industry in the mid-1990s playing uncredited and bit roles, and over the years he gained foot in Marathi film industry.

Ankush Chaudhari hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was born on 31 January 1973. Chaudhari first came into the limelight for the first time through a supporting role in 1995 Marathi drama film Soona Yeti Ghara. Yet he had to wait for some years to get some good roles from film industry. He played the supporting role of Rahul in Govinda starrer Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain in year 2000, marking his debut in Bollywood films. Ankush played supporting roles in a series of Marathi films in the first half of 2000s and later also worked as an assistant director in the industry.

As a film director he marked his debut with Saade Maade Teen in 2007 and the movie starred Bharat Jadhav, Siddharth Jadhav, Makarand Anaspure, Amruta Khanvilkar and Ashok Saraf. He co-directed the movie aside Sachit Patil. A remake of Hindi iconic comedy film, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, the movie was blockbuster in Marathi Box office. After that he continued with his acting roles.
