Angira Dhar is a Bollywood film actress who marked her debut with Love Per Square Foot directed by Anand Tiwari. She was also seen in web series "Bang Baaja Baaraat". Her debut flick was released on 14 February 2018, on Netflix. She played lead role opposite Vicky Kaushal in this flick, and the ensemble cast also included Alankrita Sahai, Ratna Pathak Shah and Supriya Pathak. The film received overall good reviews from critics for its treatment. She worked as a TV producer and TV anchor before she moved to acting. She has also worked as a model, appearing in many TV ads.

Angira Dhar was born on 25 May 1991, in Srinagar, Kashmir. Her professional career began with television, quite interestingly not as actor, but as associate producer. She also worked as assistant director before she moved to acting. She was associated with Channel V during her early days. She later turned an anchor with the show, 'Beg Borrow Steal' by UTV Bindass. Dhar started her modelling career, and appeared in many TV ads such as Domino's India, Everyuth, Cadbury Silk etc.

Her acting debut happened with the web series, Bang Baaja Baaraat in 2015. She played an independent young Punjabi girl in this film. Ali Fazal played the male lead in this show. She shot to fame with this popular web series. She also reprised the same role in its second season too. The web series was indeed popular, and helped her to bag the first Bollywood film, Love per Square Foot opposite Vicky Kaushal. The film was produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Anand Tiwari.
