Andreanne Nouyrigat Biography

Andreanne Nouyrigat is a Tamil actress of French origin. She also works in French movies. She has worked as both lead actress and character artist in Tamil cinema. She was first seen as a dancer in 2007 Rajinikanth film, Shivaji, before she took a break to return to the industry in 2015. Since then she is regular in Tamil movies, playing various significant roles onscreen. She portrayed her first lead role in the comedy film, Melnaattu Marumagan (2018) alongside Rajkamal. In supporting role, she appeared in films – Enakkul Oruvan, Saalaiyoram, Rajini Murugan, Zero, Rum, Veera Sivaji and Kanden Kadhal Konden earlier.

Andreane Nouyrigat was born in France. But since childhood she is settled in Pondicherry at the age of 6. She moved to France for advanced studies and returned back as veterinarian nurse. But when she returned, she pursued a career in films, rather than her professional studies. Started off as an extra in a telefilm in year 2000, she became active in French stage plays. In 2007 she was casted as an extra in Tamil film Sivaji. She also worked as a model during this period, and earned success too. She has done ramp walk for several leading designers of the country and also did ad photo shoots.

After a big break, she returned to Tamil films with the year 2015, and started doing bit and supporting roles. She learnt Tamil and also dubbed herself for most of her roles. Most recently she received her first lead role in Tamil cinema through Melnaattu Marumagan, where she dubbed her dialogues and played a Brahmin girl too. A ghost in the horror film Zero (2016), a comic role in Rajini Murugan (2016) and a Russian woman in Rum (2017) are other noted works.
