Ajay Devaloka Biography

Ajay Devaloka is a film editor and director, best known for his association with Indian made English films. He has closely worked with director Rupesh Paul for several bilingual films as an editor - Saint Dracula 3D and Kamasutra 3D, being the noted works released in English as well. Marked his editorial debut in 2012, he has directed two movies in 2017 – Isabella & WHO, waiting for a theatric release. Katari Veera Surasundarangi 2012, Ennennum Ormmaykkai, Raktharakshass, The Last Vision, Kanthari and Bul Bul Maina are his releases in editor’s role. Ajay has worked in south Indian film industry too.

Ajay hails from Kozhikode, Kerala. He is also addressed as Ajay V. P. He holds a Diploma in Animation and VFX, and has also worked in Department of Studies in Criminology and Forensic Science, Maharaja's College, Mysore. He marked his professional career as an editor in the year 2012, editing the film, 'Last vision’. Apart from feature films, he has also worked on short films, music videos, ad films, documentaries etc. By 2014 he completed editing work of more than 20 movies apart from other forms of films.

Started his career in 2012, as of 2018 he has completed his work in more than 60 ad films, television serials, telefilms, short films, film trailers etc. In the year 2017, he decided to join film industry as a full-fledged film director and has directed two films. His recent work, WHO is set for a theatric release in 2018 May. A neo-noir realistic film, Ajay has so much expectations with this work. The movie is set to release in English, Tamil and Malayalam languages, and stars Shine Tom Chacko, Shruthy Menon, Pearle Maaney and Rajeev Pillai in lead roles. Ajay scripted the film also.
