Abhishek Rath is a very popular young actor associated with Odia film industry. He was born on 13th March 1992, and currently one of the most sought actors of Odia movies. Rath plays lead roles in films, and he has also remained as a successful model in the entertainment field. His acting career began in the year 2013. He made his acting debut with ‘ACP Sagarika’ as the male protagonist opposite Ollywood actress Prakruti Mishra and then in Kehi Nuhen Kahara opposite Elina Samantray. Since then he is regular in Odia cinema.

He was born on 13th March 1992 in Orissa. He is an engineer by profession, who later pursued movies. He succeeded in this field as well. He passed out from K. I. I. T University. Though he did his engineering studies, he always dreamt to become an actor. Abhishek started his acting career at the very early stage, and has worked with documentaries and tele films, before he forayed into big screen. He has been strictly professional whenever he faces camera, and has always accepted the challenge to portray any type of roles. He has excelled in comedy, emotional scenes, romance, dance and action scenes, making him a hot favourite to many.

His released films up-to-date include - Acp Sagarika (debut film), Kehi Nuhen Kahara, Chup Chup Chori Chori, Revenge, Atma and Katha Deli Matha Chhuin. Katha Deli Matha Chhuin is his recent release. The movie was released on 23 February 2017, and opened to negative reviews. The movie was directed by Shailendra Tripathy, and produced by Sridhara Martha.
