Dr. Srinivasan Biography

Dr. Srinivasan is an Indian film actor and a producer who is considered to be the comedy guy of Tamil film industry. He calls himself as Power Star and has a group of fans for him. He acted in his own movie Lathika.

Srinivasan was originally a doctor from Madurai who is running his acupuncture hospital. He has produced few Tamil films and this gave him an interest to act in movies. When he started acting in films, people started to tease him and make fun of him. But he did not bother about all these things and went on acting in films. When he could not get a chance to act, he produced his own films and directed and acted in them.

He claims to have thousands of fans all over Tamil Nadu. He is noted for paying people to keep them as his fans, to praise him in public places. He wants himself to be noticed and makes many foolish attempts to achieve this and went to extent of calling himself as the Power Star. Some people even call him mad and criticize his attempts to get cheap publicity.

He is married and has three school going children. He mentioned in an interview that his kids did not like his performance in the films. His first movie marking his acting debut was Pa.Ra.Palanisamy. Other movies he has released include Unakkaaga Oru Kavithai, Indira Sena, Mandabam, Neethana Avan and Lathika. He also claims to film some movies namely Mannavan, Desiya Nedunchalai, Seenu M.A.B.L, Thiruma, Moolakadai Murugan, Surangapadhai, Seenu, Padai, Thalaivan, etc.

All his movies are released only in one theatre but he claims that they ran successfully in all places of the state for more than 100 days. He took part in the reality show Paasa Paravaigal hosted by Kovai Sarala in Kalaignar TV. In that program, when asked who his competitor was, he answered that he considered Super Star Rajinikanth as his competitor. He has such immense over confidence that no one else would have in this world.

He has poor and comical dancing skills. He says that the movie Lathika was very successful and was screened for more than 250 days. He had a recent clash with another director Manikandan over the film title Dhesiya Nedunchaalai. He makes lots of punch dialogues. He is popular in online social media also. His comedy manners are enjoyed by people. His stupidity and idiocy has reached even other foreign countries. He meets with insult from the mass.
