The Science and Technology Museum has an observatory near its complex and is the most elevated point in Thiruvananthapuram as it is located at an altitude of about 60 m above sea level. This museum was set up in 1984 and displayed many gadgets, technology related exhibits and advanced gizmos.

Every afternoon, science related shows are conducted here in English. It is opened on all days except Monday.
