Priyadarshini Planetarium was opened in 1994. It has a main GM – 11 star field projector to see all the constituents of the visible universe. Special shows are also arranged here in specific times. It can simulate the night sky on any part of the world on any given day over thousands of years back and over thousands of years to come. The shows are conducted in Malayalam and English.
