Ramshej Fort is located on the north of Nashik. This fort has historical importance and was attacked by Aurangazeb. However Shivaji Maharaj, Sambhaji and his army resisted them and the fight continued for seven years. Some of the places of interest here are the secret tunnel, Ramlalla Temple and the rock cut caves.
