Coin Museum is only one of its kinds in Asia with fine collection of coins. It was established in the year 1980 under the Indian Institute of Research in Numismatic Studies. It is located in the cool backdrop of Ajneri Hill. It imparts the idea about Indian coins to the common people and many coins of ancient times to modern times are showcased here. The replicas, coins, moulds, dyes and photographs are displayed that give an idea of the Indian coinage. Also some numismatic materials, bronze and terracotta items and paintings are found here.
