Bandipur National Parks is one of the national parks and tiger reserves of India and this spreads over an area of 874 square kilometers. Together with this, there are some adjoining national parks namely Nagarhole National Park, Mudumalai National Park and Wynad Wildlife Sanctuary.

 

In Bandipur National Parks, it is estimated that about seventy Bengal tigers and more than three thousand Indian elephants have their habitat. Other animals found ehre are panther, sambar, wild boar, jackal, squirrel, barking deer, langur, etc. You can also find beautiful birds like jungle fowl, robins, partridges, warbles, peacocks, pigeons, etc. Wide varieties of reptiles, insects, ants and butterflies are also found here.
