Chattar Manzil is a famous tourist attraction in Lucknow and was built by the Nawab Ghazi Ud Din Haider. But he died before this structure was completed and so was finished by his son Nasir Ud Din Haider. It has many underground rooms and has a dome surmounted by a gilt umbrella. The Central Drug Research Institute is functioning within its premises at present. This architecture reveals the old world charm.
