Vaishno Devi Mandir is dedicated to the Goddess Shakti known by various names as Vaishno Devi, Mata Rani and Vaishnavi. She is considered to be the manifestation of Mother Goddess. This is one of the important pilgrimage spots of the Hindus. There are many legendary stories behind the formation of this temple.

Bairav Nath’s Temple is located closer to this shrine and whoever visit Vaishno Devi Temple also visit this temple. The way to the temple is steep and one has to take a long walk uphill. The ponies and palanquins are available to take people up.
