Ranbireshwar Temple is located on Shalimar Road in Jammu and was built in 19th century by Maharaja Ranbir Singh of Dogra Dynasty. It was completed in 1883 and has two halls with the gods Ganesha and Kartikeya. The idols of Nandi Bull and thousands of bona lingams are placed in the halls of the temple.

 

The notable feature of this temple is the 7.5 feet tall Shiva lingam that is placed in the main sactum of the temple and the main lingam is made of marble stone. There are totally 12 lingams that range from 15 cm to 38 cm in height carved out of crystals.
