Sanganer is a village near Jaipur which is famous for handmade paper industry and textile printing. The Sanganer prints are popular as they look bright. The bright colors are always painted on the white backgrounds. In 1728, during the period of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the handmade paper industry started. At present there are about 10 such industries in Sanganer. The tourists visit this place for having a look at the art and for purchasing them.
