The Jaipur Zoo was opened in 1877 and it has two sections, one for mammals and the other for reptiles and birds. Jaipur Zoological Garden houses 71 species of animals including some endangered species. The floral arcades and lush green landscapes and the museum, aviary, herbarium and greenhouse makes this a wonderful spot for tourists. The Jaipur zoo is opned on all days from 8.30 A.M. to 5 P.M. except on Tuesdays. The timing in winters is from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
