Nizam Museum was opened to public on 18^th February 2000 and has a collection of gifts that were given to the last Nizam of Hyderabad named Osman Ali Khan Asaj Jah VII. It has a repository of souvenirs, mementos, gold tiffin box studded with diamonds, glass inlay paintings, wooden writing box with pearls and diamonds, silver coffee cups, silver filigree elephant with mahout, manually operated lift of 150 years old and 200 years old proclamation drums, etc. Together with these rare collections, you can also find some vintage cars including the 1930 Rolls Royce, Packard and Jaguar Mark V.
