Lumbini Park spreads over an area of 7.5 acres of land and is located closer to Birla Mandir and Necklace Road. It was established in the year 1994 and is maintained by the Buddha Purnima Project Authority. It was named as T. Anjaiah Lumbini Park in the honor of the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. There is a laser auditorium in the park that can seat up to 2000 people at a time. A show on Hyderabad’s history is conducted here.
