Chowmahalla Palace belongs to the Nizams of Hyderabad and it was from where Asaf Jahi dynasty ruled over the place. The building received UNESCO Asia Pacific Merit Award for cultural heritage conservation.

 

It has unique style and elegance and the building was constructed in 18th century and has the synthesis of many architectural styles. It has two courtyards, the durbar hall, fountains and gardens. The palace spreads over an area of 14 acres of land. The clock tower, council hall and Roshan Bangla are some of the noteworthy features.
