The Botanical Garden at Hyderabad spreads over an area of 120 acres of land located in the Kothaguda Reserve Forest. The garden has 19 sectors called Vanams and has different sections for fruit trees, medicinal plants, timber trees, aquatic plants, etc. With more than 600 species of plants, this garden is also used for scientific and research purposes. It has many facilities such as cafeteria, drinking fountains and toilets.
