Chattbir Zoo is a zoological park located near Zirakpur and has hundreds of species of birds, mammals and reptiles. The main attraction of the zoo is the lion safari and Bengal tigers. The adventurous trips to the reserves of the Asiatic lions are organized by the zoo authority. They are taken in caged motor vehicle and the animals are placed in large moats. The zoo also has a water body and parks. It is open on all days except on Monday and national holidays.
