The Bull Temple also called Dodda Basavana Gudi is one of the oldest temples located in Bangalore built in 1537 by Kempe Gowda and it has the Nandi or the bull made of the single stone. This monolithic sculpture of the Bull temple is the center of attraction of the visitors.

 

The bull statue is 4.5 meters high and 6 meters long and is carved out of single granite rock. The time to visit the temple is from 6 A.M. to 8 P.M.
