Yesha Rughani Biography

Yesha Rughani is an upcoming actress associated with Hindi soaps. She is best known for playing the protagonist in on-going series, Muskaan where she plays the titular role. Popular actor Sharad Malhotra plays the male lead in this show. She has earlier appeared in TV shows such as Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey – her debut lead role, and also made guest appearances in Bhootu, Aap Ke Aa Jane Se and Jiji Maa. Her role as Muskaan Raunak Singh and Muskaan Bose in Muskaan since 2018 established her as a successful TV star.

Yesha Rughani was born on 18 May 1991 in Rajkot, Gujarat. She studied at Symbiosis Institute of Design, Maharashtra and is a fashion designer before she forayed into acting. She got her first break to small screen in 2017 through the show, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey. She played the lead role of Devi Adhiraj Rajawat/Devika Varun Babba which helped her to earn initial recognition. Krip Suri as Adhiraj Rajawat played the male lead in the show, which was aired on ZEE TV nearly one year. Since then she also makes brief appearances for other TV shows.

In 2018 she bagged her second lead role through Muskaan. The show is aired on Star Bharat. She had planned to pursue various careers in her growing-up years, including that of an astronaut. Acting just happened as an accident in her career. Acting was just a passing fancy for her. She was spotted by producer Kinnari Mehtaa at a flea market, where Yesha had a stall. Thus she landed into her first TV role.  In 2018 she designed the wedding costumes for her on screen wedding for the show, Muskaan.
