Vrushika Mehta Biography

Vrushika Mehta is a dancer, model and television actress. Dil Dosti Dance’s Sharon is one of her popular roles on small screen. She was paired with Shantanu Maheshwari for the series and the chemistry of the Jodi was well appreciated by audience. She played the lead role of Dancing Diva "Sharon Rai Prakash" in Channel V’s youth oriented series - Dil Dosti Dance. A perfect mold of hotness and cuteness, she is one of the shining young stars of television industry. Currently she plays the Female lead Kaira opposite Ravish Desai, for ZEE TV’s Satrangi Sasural.

Vrushika was born 18 February 1994 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat into a typical Gujarati family. Since her association with television, she lives in Mumbai. Since high school days, she identified her potential to become a good dancer and since then she regularly appeared in dance competitions gaining popularity among school friends. She also won prizes for solo dance in contemporary art forms. In Dance Mumbai Dance, 2011 organized by Terrence Lewis Academy, she went on to win the first prize in duet dance category, alongside Sonal Bandekar. She also took part in Marathi Dance reality show Khallas Dance Ekach Chance on Mi Marathi channel. Her skills in dance opened her door to television and got a magic debut as protagonist in Dil Dosti Dance which made her immensely popular among the youth.

One of the lead actresses of television industry at present, she played antagonist’s role in almost all TV serials she acted. Those roles include her debut series, Dil Dosti Dance followed by Yeh Hai Aashiqui (2015), Twist Wala Love (2015), Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (2015) and the most recent Satrangi Sasural (2015). Her sizzling chemistry with her co-star Shantanu Maheshwari in the dance sequences of DDD were well-noticed by audience.
