Varun Parandhaman Biography 
Varun Parandhaman is a budding musician and songwriter based in Chennai, best known for independent songs and singles. He is a freelance singer who works as a music producer too. Since 2009, he has sung more than a dozen of Tamil film songs for different composers. In 2014 he released a single Cosmopolitan Kadhali aside Josh Vivian. He composed this song also. Since 2012, he has given back vocals for many chartbuster hit songs of Tamil cinema, such as 3, Maryan, Sigaram Thodu, Million Dollar Arm, Kanchana 2 and Romeo Juliet. As a playback singer, he regularly worked with the composers – Imman & Manoj. S.
Varun Parandhaman was born in Chennai in 1991. He is a software engineer. Since school days he was drawn towards the world of music and got interested in singing. But he never took formal education in music. But he regularly participated in music competitions and won several prizes. He has won singing competitions in inter-college level. He taught himself how to use popular Digital Audio Workstations and became the music producer for various artists based in Chennai.
He got his first break to singing in 2009 as a back vocal artist. Imman offered him a song Kadavule from the movie Kacheri Arambam to provide back vocals for its remixed version by Palash Sen. After that he started working as a freelancer backup vocalist, and continued the profession for more than 6 years. Associated with Independent Music, he has worked on and recorded songs for Hiphop Tamizha. He later Namma Ooru Boy Band and look forward with a career in independent music. He also has his own band, Varun Parandhaman & Friends.
