Teeshay Shah Biography

Teeshay Shah is an actor, model, TV host, and director who works in Indian entertainment industry. He predominantly works in Bollywood movies and Hindi television, though he is a part of regional entertainment industry too. As a television actor, he appeared in numerous episodic shows for Channel V and other youth-oriented channels, and has acted in Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Love By Chance, Planet Bollywood, Everest, Gumrah: End of Innocence, Yeh Hai Aashiqui Siyappa Ishq Ka, Gulmohar Grand, SuperCops vs Supervillains etc. He also hosted the English show, Match Point in 2016, and Match Point for Star Sports.

He played lead role in 2015 Bollywood flick, The Perfect Girl written and directed by Prakash Nambiar. He was also seen in Hindi films - Fast Forward, Blood Money, Yahaan Sabki Lagi Hai and one regional film - I Wish. As a successful model, he has appeared in more than 70 TV commercials. He did his first commercial for Thumbs up, where he shared screen space with Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen. He has written and directed short plays for balancing act productions. He also hosts sports shows, and has worked as a sports presenter on Star Sports.

Shah hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was born into a Gujarati family in Mumbai. His education was completed in Mumbai itself. He completed his Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Shah and Anchor College. Teeshay has learnt martial arts from Sensei Rajesh Thakkar since the age of 7 years. He also got opportunity to represent India in 1992 for The open Karate World Tournament, Japan. He also trained in dance from some of the leading names of the industry like  Shiamak Davar and Ashley Lobo.
