Tanvi Palav Biography

Tanvi Palav is a noted Marathi television actress, who became popular through the television serial ‘Javai Vikat Ghene Aahe’ where she plays lead role of character Pranjal. The television serial is currently aired on Zee Marathi. She has also appeared in popular televsion serials like ‘Maan Udhaan Varyache’ and ‘Rang Mazha Vegla’, in supporting roles. A trained Kathak dancer, Tanvi has already given many stage performances and known as a good dancer in this field.

She was born on 27 August, 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She was brought up in Mumbai where she completed schooling at King George School, Dadar and later studied at Ruia College, Mumbai. This college is known for producing good artists apart from brilliant students and has contributed a lot of talented artists to Marathi entertainment industry. She received encouragement from parents to take part in cultural events, since her childhood. Tanvi is the niece of renowned Calligraphy master of India Achhut Palav. Tanvi too is a little bit creative who dreams to do innovations with various dance forms on stage. Apart from acting, Kathak is her next passion which she loves to continue even after retirement age. She has acquired an additional degree in this creative field too.

Saam TV's serial 'Rang Majha Vegala', which was Tanvi’s one of the earliest small screen apperaances was produced by Ekta Kapoor, known for successful soap operas. She attended the audition for ‘Javai Vikat Ghene Aahe’ and was offered the title role. The serial aired its first episode on March 2014. Noted Marathi artistes like Spruha Joshi, Ninad Limaye and Aakash Dabhade were her seniors in Ruia College.
