Syed Anwar Ahmed is a Television actor and Film producer associated with Tamil entertainment industry. He owns a production house, Evergreen Productions which produces films and TV shows. He marked his television debut as a lead actor through Pirivom Santhippom, a family soap drama in 2011 produced by his production house. He also produced Saravanan Meenatchi, the popular TV show. As a television actor, he is best known for the roles - Pagal Nilavu, Rekka Katti Parakkudhu Manasu, Thayumanavan, Saravanan Meenatchi and Pirivom Santhippom. He played lead hero role in Pirivom Santhippom and Pagal Nilavu.

Syed Anwar Ahmed was born on 19 March 1991 in Hyderabad, present day Telangana. His mother’s name is Shanoor Sana. He currently resides in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is currently engaged to his co-star of television serials, Sameera Sherief. They together worked in Pagal Nilavu during 2016-2018, the show in which he played lead role. Currently he plays supporting role in Rekka Katti Parakkudhu Manasu since 2017.

He launched his own production company, Evergreen Productions in 2011, and produced the first show, Pirivom Santhippom in which he played the male lead. It was his debut role as an actor and the show was aired on Star Vijay. In fact most of his shows appear in the same Tamil entertainment channel. Saravanan Meenatchi, Dance Jodi Dance, Rekka Katti Parakkudhu Manasu and Ponmagal Vanthal are some of the shows he produced later.

As a television actor, his lead role in Pagal Nilavu remains his most popular role. He is currently engaged to Sameera Sherief, who played female lead in this series. The role earned him two nominations at Vijay Television Awards - for Favourite Actor and for Favourite Screen Pair.
