Singer Usha Biography 
Singer Usha is a well-established playback singer from south, who predominantly sings for Telugu films. She has completed one decade in the field of playback singing and owns many chartbuster Telugu film songs. Her popular songs are included in the movies - Manasantha Nuvve, Bhadra, Santhosham, Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu, Pourudu, Jayam, Indra, Chiruta, Athidhi, Varsham, Nee Sneham, Avunanna Kadanna etc. She has also performed for more than 150 live concerts till now and has performed with leading artists like SP Balasubramanyam, Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Mani Sharma, P. Suseela etc. She is a recipient of three Nandi awards for playback singing. She is one among those lucky stars of singing field, who got break to movies following the success in reality show on television.
Usha, better known as Singer Usha was born on 29 May 1980 in Nagarjuna Sagar, Andhra Pradesh. She started her singing profession with a TV show, before moving to playback singing. "Paadutha Teeyaga" for Eenadu Television hosted by legendary singer S. P. Balasubramanyam marked her singing career. She participated in the talent hunt show, where she emerged as the winner. She has been a regular performer of music on television between the period - 1996 and 2000. She has also participated in singing competitions for Hindi channels.
She got her first break to playback singing in the year 2000. The opportunity was given by Vandemataram Srinivas, renowned music director for the movie, Illalu. Since then she has been associated with many chartbuster songs of Telugu. "Kallu Teravani" song from Padma was one of her early major breaks in the year 2001, which earned her the first Nandi award. She got the award the following year for the song "Chinuku Tadiki" from the movie, Nee Sneham. In 2006 she won the same award in TV category. Usha got married to a US based Engineer in 2005 and since then shuttling between US and India. "Toonega Toonega" and "Usharugaa" are her popular albums.
