Shruti Prakash is a Hindi actress and singer from Karnataka. She was a contestant in the fifth season of the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada. She is a television actress who appears in Hindi Tv soaps, and is best known for her parallel lead role in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya on Star Plus. She was a semi-finalist of Closeup Websinger Contest, and was later seen appearing as opposite to Mohit Gaur as Lead female face of the show, 'Ishq Unplugged' aired on Channel V. It was a youth based show about romance and interesting plots. She is associated with entertainment field since 2015, and earned success within a short period. She is to mark her screen debut in Kannada films very soon.

Shruti Prakash hails from Belagavi, Karnataka. She belongs to a family with military background. She completed BBA from Jain College of Business Administration in Belagavi. After studies she worked as a content editor for EduMedia India Private Limited in Mumbai for a brief period. Her major turning point happened when she contested in the singing show, Closeup WebSinger, where she finished as a semifinalist. After that she concentrated on to her singing career and acting roles also came in.

After a successful career in the field of music as well as television, she is to foray into Kannada film industry as an actress. She has also sung cover versions for many songs, and has earned recognition. She has now signed a series of Kannada film projects. At present she has 6 Kannada film projects in hand, which include - Lonadonalli Lambodara, Bharatha Bhaubali, Gully, Rangamandira, Kadala Thiradali Bhargava and Fidaa. With a lovely voice, she has a great acting career ahead.
