Shivani Surve is a very popular and successful actress associated with Marathi television. She has also done Hindi television soaps. She is known for her bubbly image onscreen and she portrays positive roles onscreen. In fact audience doesn’t want her to see in negative shades. She has been featured in Hindi TV shows like Navyaa, Phulwa and Anamika. Jana Na Dil Se Door is her most recent TV show, where she portrays the role of Vividha. Devyani and Sundar Maza Ghar are her popular Marathi shows and she gives equal preference to both. She played the female lead Devyani in the popular show, Devyani in Star Pravah for which she became extremely popular among Marathi audience.

She is a Maharashtrian born in Mumbai. She was born on 29th August 1990. She was first associated with Hindi TV shows, before she became active in Marathi television industry. She got her first break in 2011 for the series, Navya, where she played the role of Nimisha, the sister of the male protagonist. Her performance was extremely remarkable and she got noticed for her debut role. She played the female lead’s elder sister in the series, Phulwa.

Though she started off with Hindi TV shows, she became a star through Marathi shows. She started giving auditions for Marathi shows and bagged the first TV soap, Devyani. She bagged the lead role for the show and there was no turning back after that. It was followed by ‘Sundar majhe Ghar’ and she established herself as a star of small screen. She is best known for playing roles of the ideal daughter and daughter-in-law on mini screen and the actress says, no producer is willing to give her a negative role. The actress says that she never feels bored doing repetitive scenes, as she tries to bring some variation in acting every time.
